| THE SLEDEZ STORY |

|
Sledez is the brainchild of two guys, Chad and Jason, who had shared a life long passion for anything and everything motorized. As they got older and bigger, their toys also got bigger and heavier. Chad’s love continued for 4-wheelers and dirt bikes while Jason passion turned to snowmobiling. Each would urge the other to succumb to the other’s hobby. On a bright, sunny June day Chad would ask Jason how his snowmobile was doing parked behind the garage and in January Jason would inquire as to what Chad was going to take to hit the snow covered trails??? As life always progresses, time would tell that they would both grow to love snowmobiling as more than just a past time. It has become a way of life from November to March. This way of life includes daily weather reports, checking trail conditions and heading out to find where the snow has laid the best trail. It takes a person who has worked an 8-12 hour day and gives him the energy to ride hard until the sun comes up the next day when the magic powder begins to fall from the sky. It also develops an entirely new language that only snowmobilers understand. Suddenly conversations are overtaken with words such as carbide wear rods, hifaxs and the number of picks a man has installed. Once snowmobiling becomes a way of life, the passion grows and becomes bigger. As they began to ride more and take more trips they discovered that snowmobiling (as with anything worth doing) is hard work. Moving a sled around after a weekend of hard riding is a chore that most snowmobilers dread. And like most snowmobilers they began searching catalogs and surfing the Internet to find a way to make moving the snowmobile around easier. In the beginning, every new product seemed to be great. The first set of three independent dollies (one under each ski and one under the track) seemed to be a blessing. Until you hit the first crack in the garage floor and found yourself repeatedly lifting the 400-600 lb machine back onto the dolly. Next came the big-wheeled cart. What an ease! With the use of physics you could lift the entire machine off of the floor. This thing was awesome until you needed to back the snowmobile into a corner so that all your cars and other toys fit in the garage also. All of a sudden this great cart became a large, unmanueverable piece of steel that takes up a lot of room. And as they upgraded their sleds to newer models they discovered the cart became even less functionable. The riding still remained unforgettable but handling of the sleds when not riding began to take over their thoughts. With any good hobby, there is always time to let your mind go and ideas flow. It gives you the opportunity to be around other enthusiasts and share ideas and stories. Jason and Chad began to pour through what was needed to make moving and storing a snowmobile easier. It had to save your back and require no lifting. It had to work over tougher terrain including cracks in concrete and gravel. It needed to stay under the snowmobile and not slip out. And it needed to be able to maneuver into a garage corner with ease without causing damage to the sled. These ideas continued to flow and dominate conversations. These conversations turned into sketches on bar napkins. Jason took the sketches and began fabricating. The early models were all wood. Next came all steel models. Wood & steel each posed their own unique complications. Final product would come to be a combination of steel and plastic. And would provide a solution to all the problems with a resounding - YES! Does it save your back? YES – easy ride on/ ride off Once the early models were made Chad and Jason began to use the SLEDEZ. Each time being amazed at the versatility and wondering why they hadn’t come up with this sooner. Soon other snowmobiling buddies began to stop by and request a SLEDEZ of their own. As the requests for one continued and the compliments poured in, the need to share with other snowmobile lovers became evident. This is a product that others may want and more importantly need.
